The most obvious and important feature retained in Phantom Series II is the Phantom's command view. This has been further enhanced by a new polished horizontal line between the daytime running lights above the Pantheon grille. This gives the Phantom a new and assertive modernity, reflecting its driver-focused character.
A slight geometric change to the Pantheon's grille makes the "RR" badge and Spirit of Ecstasy mascot more visible when viewed from the front. The grille itself is now illuminated, a feature first introduced and made popular by the Ghost. The headlights feature intricate laser-cut starlights, creating a visual connection to the Starlight cladding inside and adding even more surprise and delight to the Phantom's nighttime presence.
The Phantom's side profile retains Rolls-Royce's signature short front and long rear overhangs, long wheelbase and wide C-pillar, providing greater privacy for passengers. The silhouette retains elegant key lines running from the Spirit of Ecstasy to the tapering rear tail. The "split seat belt" line starts from the front fender and curves gently towards the rear door, emphasizing the elongated proportions between the instrument panel and the car's axle, before flowing into the rear view lamps. The heavily trimmed "waft line" creates a strong shadow, visually highlighting the unrivaled "Magic Carpet Ride".
The Phantom's luxurious interior remains largely unchanged, with the steering wheel now slightly thicker to provide a closer connection between owner and driver.
