The Audi C8 is a full-size five-seater premium sedan, which is the flagship of the German manufacturer's passenger car line. After the generation change, its overall dimensions are: length 5179 mm, width 1945 mm, height 1474 mm, and wheelbase 2998 mm. The car is based on the MLB Evo platform. Its distinctive features are the widespread use of high-strength alloys, the front longitudinal arrangement of the power unit and a completely independent suspension.
Under the hood of the Audi S8 there is a 4-liter V-shaped petrol eight-cylinder turbocharged unit. Thanks to two turbochargers, direct fuel supply, and an advanced valve timing system, engineers managed to squeeze out 571 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. Moreover, the power unit is equipped with a mild hybrid system. It is based on a 48-volt starter-generator.
As is typical for a flagship, the Audi S8 has a wide range of optional equipment. Standard equipment includes: Matrix OLED headlights, a 12.3-inch virtual instrument panel, two 10.1-inch screens on the front panel, MMI Navigation Plus multimedia center, premium Banf & Olufsen 3D acoustics, and radar cruise - control that operates until the vehicle comes to a complete stop.
