It appears that Chevrolet is somewhat envious of Ford Expedition's Stealth Performance package, and as a result, the 2023 Tahoe full-size SUV will be introducing a performance package of its own. The package, which will be available for the RST trim level, includes an upgraded exhaust, suspension adjustments, and different brakes.
The upgraded exhaust boosts the RST's 6.2-liter V-8 engine by 13 horsepower and 7 pound-feet, resulting in a total of 433 horsepower and 467 pound-feet of torque. The Performance Edition also features springs, dampers, and an anti-roll bar borrowed from the police-spec Tahoe, lowering the vehicle's height by 0.4 inch compared to the standard version. In addition, larger front brakes are included to provide more stopping power.
