R8 Perfomance

The Audi R8 performance is powered by a naturally aspirated V10 engine. The performance variant provides an additional 36 kW of power, bringing the total power to 456 kW. This reduces the 0-100 km/h sprint from 3.4 to 3.1 seconds and increases the top speed from 324 to 331 km/h.

Thanks to the optional performance sport suspension with carbon fiber stabilizer, all four wheels are controlled by aluminum double wishbones. Audi magnetic ride with carbon fiber stabilizer is offered as an optional ultra-light damping system that adapts the shock absorbers to your driving style and road profile – in a matter of milliseconds for each wheel.

The power steering is tuned to directly transfer your steering effort and provide exceptionally precise feedback to the road. To help keep speeds down, the R8 Coupé V10 features carbon fiber-reinforced ceramic brakes as standard.

The striking design elements of the Audi R8 Coupé V10 performance include the far front passenger compartment, strongly emphasized wheel arches and a sporty diffuser.

The finishing touch at the rear is a full-width grille, as well as new oval tailpipes in high-gloss black. They are further emphasized by a large fixed spoiler made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), while the sides are dominated by characteristic blades.
